Where to go??

Soo.. We have never been on a "real" family vacation. Lots of time at the lake, weekend trips to SLC or my grandpa's in Logan, or to Vegas...again to visit family. So we are going all out this summer...just WHERE??
Originally, we were going to Cozumel, Mexico. A friend of ours had been and absolutely LOVED it...stayed at an all-inclusive resort where EVERYTHING is paid sounds great. But it was a little more than we were thinking. We will pay the money, just want to make sure we are getting a good deal. So we have started shopping around...Jamaica, Puerto Vellarta, Cabo, Cancun, Cozumel....WHERE!! Want somewhere beachy...want to be able to go snorkeling and play outside all day. Doesn't nessessarily have to be out of the country...but why not? Then is Cancun or Cabo to "adult"? But we really don't want to go where it is completely geared towards kids either. Issues, I swear.
Then thought about a cruise. That will be fun too...Brady is absolutely TERRIFIED of any characters...he had to leave the high school basketball game on Friday because of the Tiger mascot. Yes, it is that bad. So that puts Disney Cruises out, but maybe another? But maybe with kids it would be better to say in one spot, less stressful..no scheduled dinners, ect. I have no idea.
Then our last issue. Marissa. Do we really spend $1700 for her to come when she won't remember? Would she have more fun staying with Grampy or a friend? Then I have major guilt because it is our first offical family vacation and she wouldn't be there...Agggh!!! See, I need help! Suggestions??? Please??

Hubby Tag...
Marcus is absolutely WonDErFuL! I absolutely believe that my mom and dad moved me at sixteen to Spring Creek, crying and cussing them the whole way, so I could meet Marcus. I know we are meant to be together. He is my everything, my rock, my best friend, my world. I am so lucky to have a husband that I know loves me unconditionally and would literally do AnYtHInG for me and our kids. He is an amazing father. Love...I LOVE YOU!
My Boys..old, but I love this picture.
Marissa, aka "Beautiful" to Marcus when she was at Primary's.

Hunny Bunny and Dad.
Me and My Love.
What is his name? Marcus David Fish
How long have you been married? Will be 10 years next month!
How long did you date? 10 months.
How old is he? 28
Who eats more? Neither of us right now...we are going to Mexico this summer and have to be HOT!!
Who said "I love you first"? Me over the phone. How retarded can you be in High School??
Who is taller? Really! Is there AnYonE who IS taller than me? It is a good thing, I can wear my 4" heals and still not reach his shoulders.
Who sings better? I can't sing. I know that, but it doesn't stop me. Marcus just doesn't sing so niether of us.
Whose temper is worse? His...but it takes it a lot to 'click'. Mine is more on the surface...so maybe it is me??
Who does the laundry?Me, unless I havent for a while and he needs underwear..then he does.
Who does the dishes? Both of us. We load that thing twice a day!
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Laying in bed, I do. We switched for a few months after we had Marissa because that was the only place for her bassinett. I don't think either of us slept well for those months.
Who mows the lawn? Either of us... usually Marcus. Last summer we paid a neighbor boy to mow it. It was cutting in on our boating time!! And it involves picking up dog turds, which is never a fun thing.
Who pays the bills? Me. Uggg!
Who cooks dinner? Dinner? My kids are eating Ramen right now. If it gets cooked, me. But if he is home, then he does it all. LOVE IT.
Who drives when you are together? Him. I hate driving, especially with him in the car. I think I have complexes from when his license was suspended and I HAD to drive and he would always yell at me for "riding the clutch". I probably did.
Who is more stubborn? Both of us. But I usually get my way, and then feel guilty for getting my way. Sucks.
Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Neither of us. We are both so darn stubborn. We just call a 'truce' and move on. It works for us.
Whose parents do you see the most? Mine. His are 6+ hours away...mine are in town.
Who proposed? Hmmm. Officially. Him, way sweet. BUT when I came out of the bathroom with a positive stick and said "You going to marry me" I think that kinda counts.
Who has more friends? Neither of us. We stay home a lot. Well, me. Only one that I would go out with though. Here at least. Lots of phone, email and blogging buddies. Him...work people.
Who has more siblings? Same. Me...3 brothers and a sister...Him 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Who wears the pants in the family? Funny, he just said last night..."I wear the pants in this house. She picks them out for me, but I wear them." I guess that explains that : )
I am tagging...Alissa, Kami, Cindy Jo, Shandee, and Tara.

Wow! What Service!!
Marissa and Silvie
Notice the grip, she is feeding that dog dangit!!
Armani's turn.
Now Maxi
So proud.
Marissa is hilarious. She insists on feeding Silvie, our poodle, by hand! Silv is really good about it, and even tolerates her shoving food between her teeth. Rissa will go get a handfull of dog food and take it to Silvie on her spot on the couch.
BUT for the first time last night she decided that Armani (Sam and Chris' dog) and Maxi both needed this service too. They didn't know what to think at first, but Marissa was THRILLED when they started eating out of her hand.
Now she has the dogs eating out of the palm of her hand as well as the rest of us!!!

Brady..the day after..
Brady got his tonsils and adnoids out yesterday morning. Poor guy. His tonsil are HUGE and were "kissing" all of the time. His speech therapist thought that could be part of his problem so we went to chat with Dr. Fisher who is the ENT specialist that comes into Rock Springs from Lander. They thought he was a good canidite as well. So we scheduled and yesterday was the big day.
I was soo nervous. Not that anything would happen, but of the AFTER! He is normally sensitive and can be extremely pouty over dumb stuff. I couldn't imagine what it would be like when he actually has something to be whiney about. So...
We went to the surgery center at 6:30. Since he has a heart murmur, he has to be on antibodics for any kind of surgery, even to get his teeth cleaned. But since he couldn't take it orally, we went in to have it put into his iv. Well, duh, since it is going right into his blood stream, there was not reason for us to be there an hour early, but oh well. We had told him what was going to happen and that he was going to be able to eat lots of popsicles and ice cream and that his throat was going to be sore. So he was prepped as he could be. I even told him about the IV...he had just had kindergarten shots, so he knew... Anyways..
Once they called him to the back, he froze. He was soo nervous, but was talking so big and tough up to that point. When he had to get into his gown, have his blood pressure done and that thingy put on his finger, he lost it. It broke my heart.
I had put my camera in my car the night before so I wouldn't forget it. But then we took Marcus' truck. Go figure. I had to drop Marissa off at my mom's so I took her camcorder/camera with. Luckily it still had video from his wrestling meet, and that distracted him for a while. Even better, we found batteries in the bag for his gameboy!!! Score!
When they came in to talk to us and him, they told him he was going to be like a jet pilot with the mask. They even put the IV in after he was out!! Whoot for me!. He got up and walked with the nurse to the back room. Didn't even tell us bye.
Twenty minutes. That is all it took. Amazing eh? He woke up without freaking like so many kids do. He was drinking really good, but the best, most heartbreaking part was the first thing he said to me. "I didn't even cry mom". Aw!! I have been in that surgery room and it is SCARY. To be five and thinking you are a jet pilot....amazing.
An hour of recovery and we stopped at Smiths to get his drugs. Mom kept Marissa all day yesterday so Brady and I just hung out and watched "Spider-Pig". Today has been good too. He is still drinking lots and not overly whiney, not anything like I thought it might be...not that it isn't meritted after surgery. He is amazing and so tough.
Poor guy. All he wants is to go to McDonalds, so off we go.
Sidenote, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my pictures from yesterday off dad's camera thing. Driving me. He is going to have to burn me a cd.
Marissa & Goldilocks and the Three Bears..
"Someone has been sitting on my chair and they broke it to peices"
Marissa had her preschool Valentine's Party today and did such a good job! It was soo stinking cute. She is getting so big! I cannot believe our baby is almost 4!

Random and INSANE week.

McKenna got a part in the Missoula's Children Theater play Robinson Crusoe. She was part of the frowny face tribe. It was really cute. She is on the end with the purple hair.
Riding the "train" Trax to the game.
Marissa and Marcus' Aunt Cheryl.
Aunt Cheryl and McKenna
Me and Rissa.
We went to SLC on Tuesday to meet Aunt Cheryl and Uncle George from Las Vegas. They are traveling with the Rebels (UNLV) and the UNLV vs U of U game was Wednesday night. Marcus and I met them late Tuesday and Chris and Sam brought the kids the next day. Whoo hoo for us!!
The kids LOVED the game, I am surprised Kenna still has a voice. And Brady loves the girls. Such a nerd. We lost, which sucked, but it was just by a few points and a really good game. We stayed that night as well and after hitting Olive Garden and Costco, we headed home.
Once again, Sam and Chris took Kenna and Brady and we had Marissa cuz she said her belly hurt. We had to go through Ogden to get a trailer for Marcus' work. By the time we got to Evanston, which is about 100 miles from Rock Springs and SLC, the freeway was closed. It was soo bad, the wind was blowing that snow EVERYWHERE and at times it was a complete white-out. Doubly bad towing a trailer. Sam and Chris had made it though, and ended up pulling over for a while in Lyman. They did make it home with no problems...other than a bored and annoying 5 year old!!
Marcus, Rissa and I got a room in Evanston..THANK GOODNESS. When we left the next morning the roads were STILL closed and there were so many sleeping in cars because the rooms were sold out. I can't even imagine.
We went the back way through Kemmerer, which adds like 2 hours, but at least we would be home?? Not quite. Went throught Kemmerer and got 7 miles from I-80 and the trucks and traffic were completely stopped because of a wreck. After sitting for 30 minutes, we saw the wrecker go by so thought it would be soon. Nope, THREE HOURS later, we bailed and went yet another way. Roads were still awful, but we made it. What was supposed to be a 1 hour drive, took us 8 1/2 hours. Marissa was soo good, so that made it a lot easier. I took pictures of the roads with Marcus' phone. I will have to have him send them to me so I can share. Even they don't do justice. Whiteouts are so scary!! I am so glad Marcus' is as good of a driver as he is. I think if I were driving we would still be somewhere between Ogden and Evanston.
