Really. We have been doing stuff. A lot of stuff really. I am just too too lazy to blog about it. But because I know you all LOVE to hear about our totally crazy kids, I will give you a whopper of a post. You have been warned. ;)
First of all. We did a picture like this when Brady was a baby. Next to one of Kenna's dolls. It was cool to have the size reference on how little they were! He is about 3 weeks here. Soo little!!
Sean spent at least the first month being held or really close by. He was helping dad work...love it. We aren't totally in love or anything....
Miss Riss loves doing whatever she can to help out....she thinks she is really cool when she gets to change diapers. She does a great job though!!
We really did have soccer season...it was literally rained out for the first 4 games and practices. Made it awesome....and wet and muddy when they finally were able to play. Kids loved it though. I didn't take my camera much...baby, diaper bag, 3 kids and a camera is a little much.... But they did play and had an awesome year. We were able to go while Aunt Cheryl and Uncle George were in town...it was fun that they were able to see the kids play.
Kenna...on The Red Hot Chili Peppers...
Marissa. Practicing "Put a head on it" while Brady was playing. This cracked me up. She did a great job tho.
Aunt Cheryl watching Brady in action....
And McKenna in action....
Afterwards we went out to do some Geo caching. We hadn't been in a really long time! I had forgotten how fun it is! The kids love it and some of our WV views are incredible. This was on 'near' the soccer fields...would be close if it wasn't straight up the hill from the fields. Ha ha.
Uncle George, Aunt Cheryl and kids... {Really B?}
Marissa spends a lot of time picking me "flowers" aren't they beautiful?? She is so sweet.
Sean at 2 months. Stinkin sweet!! We love him.
Then Brady had his 9th Birthday. We decided to wait until school got out for the big friend party. But we had a BBQ with our friends in the neighborhood so we could sing "Happy Birthday" to him. I can't believe that bugger is 9.
My VERY pregnant and miserable friend Jo. She had baby Scarlett about 2 long weeks later.
Our friend Bobbie and baby Sean.
Brady and his friend Jacob.
So. Marissa has a loose tooth. It is really hanging on by a thread. But she can't quite get her fingers around it to get it out. Brady pulled out most of his own teeth, so he thought he could do it for her! And Marissa let him!! "Just wiggle and twist, then pull"...that is Brady's plan...
Not so easy and Marissa is starting to not be so amused.....
I HATE pulling teeth. It grosses me out. That suction sound?!? Ew. But after B did a few tugs and it was still in her mouth and getting pretty sore...I got out the trusty pliers and popped that bugger right out.
If you know Marissa, you know this is her hysterical laugh/cry cackle... She was so excited to have it out, but I am sure she was pretty sore from all the wiggling and tugging...
All ready for the Tooth Fairy!!
We then had Marissa's 7th Birthday. For her big day she wanted to go to dinner somewhere they would sing to her.... Goof. So she chose our favorite Mexican place where the waiters know us. It was a lot of fun. Bobbie, Don and Jo and Charlie came with their kids....
Bobbie and Marissa
Jo and Charlie. Love them.
Jake and Brady
Marissa with her fried ice cream....yummy. But the restaurant was so busy, they couldn't all get together to sing to her. Sad...but we sang to her anyways and she was happy. She is pretty easy to please....
Some of her birthday loot...
Over Memorial Day, we took the boat to Summersville which is about 2 hours away. It was our first trip of the year and Sean's first trip ever, but he did great!! Yay!! We met Marcus' friend from work, Greg, and his family and had a great weekend. Summersville lake was beautiful...had the cliffs like the Utah side of the Gorge. Loved it.
Marcus, Marissa and Kellyanna
Sean's hang out.....
Our McKenna....She is so stinkin pretty. She is also getting way too big too fast....
Momma and 10 cute baby duckies that came to say hello...and get some Cheetos.
Marissa LOVES being a big sister. She will tell me, "Mom, I am a good big sister, huh.." She is! We laugh that she just likes having a baby that moves. He hee. She is really great with him. Soon Sean is going to be as big as her, I am sure.
School got out here Friday, June 3. The following Monday, we took the kids to Kennywood (Lagoonish). There were 5 mommas, one dad and 17 kids. It was insane but a great time!
The kids had a blast! Kenna took off with the older group and 'the dad', AJ and I didn't see her for most of the day. She LOVES rides and roller coasters...
Then our poor B...he is 48". Not quite tall enough to do anything! With B, you never know though. He is crazy and will jump off cliffs into the lake, but it is impossible to get him to go on the tube. I think it is a control thing...so I didn't know what he would think about roller coasters. Of course, it is Brady and he talked really big, how he would have gone on ALL of them if he wasn't such a midget. The ones he was able to go on with a big person, he likes, so we will see next year what he does....
Marissa is just like her sister and momma. LOVED the rides. Honestly, that kinda surprised me. She did awesome though.
Parker, Jayden, Riley and Brady
Tonya, Bree and Marissa
Kenna and Jessika
Marissa and Bree
Brady and Riley. See how thrilled he is. I am thinkin he is all talk...then again, we were in kiddie land and he could have been bored out of his mind....
Marissa wasn't tho! She was loving it!
B was over kiddie land.
Then for the big birthday party! We went to Valley Worlds of Fun in Fairmont. We waited until school was out and for Uncle Jeff and Auntie Breezy to get here. It was fun....freaking hot, but fun.
Breeze made the kids their cupcakes...B had basketballs....
And Marissa had Microphones to sing Justin Beiber.
Bree, Marissa and Lilli hanging on the bumper boats. They would go out and beg to be sprayed to cool off. It was HOT! Plus the ac in the building was out. Whew. Toasty.
Bree makes me laugh. I am so glad I am not the only mom that forces her kids to try things I know they will like if they would just TRY them.
Ba haa haa! She was trying soo hard NOT to have fun.
Emily and Marissa.
Bree did get off and said she liked it and went on it again about a zillion more times. See, us moms know what we are talkin about....
Then there was the slides. Once again, Bree was not having it, so her momma Jessica took her on it to show her it wasn't so bad... Guess what her momma was right....again!!
Blue Steel and Cole.
Em, Jacob, Brady, Marissa and Betsy
Marissa and Megan
B and his Axe "Detailer" set. Seriously think this was his favorite gift. He LOVES to smell good. Makes him think he is tough and grown up. He kills me.
Doll did the rock wall and made it all the way to the top. Way to go!!
Then Friday, Marcus had to judge a Truck Drivers Championship in Charleston, so Jeff, Breezy, Sean, Marissa and Kenna and I tagged along. Brady stayed with Jo and Charlie and his friend Jake so he could hit the soccer fields for their last games.
While Marcus was at his competition thing, we went to The Clay Center Museum. It was a lot of fun. We totally killed almost 6 hours in there easily. There was a forensic area where you followed clued to figure out who killed the Johnson's pet goldfish while they were on vacation. It was pretty neat.
Marissa's favorite part was the Hollywood Squares type of Tic Tac Toe... The characters were hilarious...
I don't think I got to hold Sean the entire time Jeff was here except to feed him. Jeff loved baby Sean and Sean thought he was pretty cool too....
Marissa building a dam....
and blowing some fog...
Kenners thru the waterfall...
Baby Sean got his footprints on the wall thingy. How do you like that for scientific?
Look how little tho!
Some crazy mirrors...
So funny. The girls pushed thier faces into the pins and were waiting til I got around to take the picture of the other side and some little girl came up and started smacking the pins back in. Got Kenna's nose. She was fine...it was pretty funny. Although, I don't think Ken thought so...
Marissa
Kenna
HUGE bubble wand. It was pretty darn cool!
Crazy colored shadows...Breezy's bird.
And a Baby Sean
Crazy pulley system that made me feel like a wuss. Breeze got it down tho....Show off.
Monday, Marcus got off work around lunchtime so we could take them out on the boat. It was pretty chilly, only about 74 degrees...a huge drop from the 93 we were at while at Valley Worlds of Fun... but we still had a good time. We were able to go to Cheat Lake in town since it was a weekday, we knew it wouldn't be busy at all....and it wasn't.
Brady is such a turd, he pesters until he is dunked....multiple times. But pesters more to get dunked again. It is quite the cycle. Hes funny.
Jeffy and Marissa
When we pulled off for lunch, Kenna made Mermaid Marissa. Stinking cute. I can hear the song now..."Look at this stuff. Isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collections complete?..."
This is how Sean hangs most of the time on the boat.I strap him on. ;) I am gonna have some funky tan lines, I am sure... But any tan is better than what I have going on now...which is nothin.
Jeffy, Sean and the 'Size Baby'. Crazy how much bigger he is!
Speaking of. When we went to his 2 month check, he was 22" and 10 lbs 8 oz. He is actually on the charts which NEVER has happened. And in the 25% to boot! I was going thru papers and found Marissa's baby stuff. When she went in for her 4 month check, she was 10 lbs even. Sean is a moose compared to that! It was nice having little babies. I feel like they stay babies longer when they are little. Although, I love Sean's chubby thighs. Love them
So Marissa asked how many days til the next people come to visit. That is how it has been....Nana Came, then my mom, then Aunt Cheryl and Uncle George and Jeffy and Auntie Breezy. We have been able to do little countdowns between each of them and now we are done. Sad. So if you want to make Marissa VERY happy and give her something to countdown to...come see us. Really. Come. Including you Jeff and Breeze...you know just because you JUST left and are literally still in the air flying home that doesn't mean I am not going to start bugging now for you to come back...;) Hurry up people!
