Well first of all, I found my little waterproof camera that had been missing since St George. Yay for water pictures… That little camera and I had been thru a lot. I was so glad to have found it. You want to know where I found it 6 months later? Right next to my bed. Seriously. On my floor, next to the bed. Plain as day… {Insert creepy music}…
Because I love to make my family crazy, I booked another photo session. This one was on Groupon and in Pittsburgh. I was excited to be on the river walk with the city behind us. But lesson learned, you get what you pay for…But I love Pittsburgh. Its such a fun city with so much to do…and only an hour away…. Just sayin.
Sean is totally crazy and so into everything. I am currently typing on my keyboard that is missing the R, G and B keys. Do you realize how often those keys are used? It makes typing go much slower…. I have no clue where they went either. Stinker…
Sean LOVES egg and sausage scrambles. He eats them with Marcus nearly every morning. Its fun. He can most certainly eat… Well, when he wants to.
This awesomeness is Marissa’s room. The grey sparkly line? Nail polish. NAIL POLISH! I think he walked along the bed dumping it. Little punk. I slaved away for hours, getting an acetone high to get it out. I did. Also came out of the carpet. He seriously gives me more grey hair by the day. Not kidding.
Did some Black Friday shopping. I have to say it was nice being home by 11:00. But I was annoyed it started so early on Thanksgiving night.
We went to the last WVU game over Thanksgiving break. They lost in triple overtime. Was a heartbreaker. But fun. Got to spend Thanksgiving with my cousin Lindsey and her hubby Adam that live in DC. Was fun hanging with them.
Ahhh… of course. The candy tree. Such a process but I love that its tradition…our tradition.
Bartholomew came in like a wrecking ball. It was fun having him back this year.
See the little red blur? That’s Sean. The big guy in black? My brother Jeffy here to visit. We are in the airport. He had been here approximately 23 seconds before the chasing commenced. I tell ya, Sean is the best birth control EVER!!!
The package we get every year. All the way from Logan, UT. My cute grandparents send us a block of cheese. Makes me smile. And it is seriously delicious.
While Jeffy and Breezy were here, we went to DC for the weekend. Our friends Joe and January came along as well. It was a blast. We were kid free and saw a lot of stuff. Walked for MILES. Was 17 miles one day according to Joe’s fit bit.
Each state has its own tree. I believe these are WV and WY.
Arlington is a place we hadnt been before. Its so much bigger than you can imagine. Its amazing.
Horrible picture. Awesome photobomb…and food.
Celebrated Jeffy’s birthday. Man, hes getting old.
Of course a stop at DC cupcakes in Georgetown. Yum.
We had a blast with them. Of course it went much too fast. I wish they would come back Or at least move closer.
Marissa had a birthday party at the beauty college. I cant believe how old she is looking. She is still such a peanut, but is almost in the double digits….It freaks me out. Thankfully, she is still a complete snuggle bug, loves to play babies and with her baby brother. Shes a doll face…
Sean recently “gave up” his bink. Not willingly, but wasn’t as bad as I had expected. He also stole Brady’s teddy. I love it. He flips right over and snuggles down.
Christmas Eve… Of course the traditional pajamas. We make it a little more difficult (on me at least) and stick with a theme for the year. Some big event that has happened, a place we have visited…something like that. This year we rocked red, white and blue for the Morgantown High School Mohigans! I still cant believe that she is in high school.
We also caved and let them open one gift under the tree. Sean was pumped to have a Tonka truck. Now maybe he can leave Marissa’s Barbie bug alone….
Santa found us. Kenna was super excited about her popcorn. She is a popcorn fanatic and has it down to her favorite kind. She cracks me up. Sean was done opening gifts after his first present, Buzz Lightyear. I think the other kids opened the rest of his… Marissa got her rainbow loom and Brady his FIFA game. We also sent them on a scavenger hunt to discover that we were taking them to Florida for Spring Break. I don’t know who is more excited. Them or us….
A visit to see Nana and Papa Dave….
Sean has gotten quite creative when shutting off the lights. Yes, this is all him. Grabs her my the hand and tells her to sit. Hysterical.
Marcus got to go see the Steelers Browns game. He actually took this picture of Troy P…. He was on the field. Meanwhile, I am roaming Big Lots while Marissa at cheer practice and find Chuck Norris. Well if he approves, it has to be ok. I guess Ill just switch from Tide..
Did a little ice skating. Im not going to talk about how sore I was from this hour. Ouch.
New Years Eve. We fried the traditional shrimp and had a bunch of people and their families from work over. It was a mad house. But a lot of fun. Yes, Sean totally made it to ball drop. This kid is crazy.
Marissa and Emily “working out” with the lady on PBS that stretches while sitting in a chair. Cracked me up. But options are limited with no cable and your wifi is on the fritz.
Had our first substantial snow storm. Kids went to school Thursday the 2nd and had a snow day on Friday. Sean LOVED playing in it. It was hard to get him to come inside. Quite the little diehard.
First sledding of the season. I love our little sledding hill. Complete with ramp….
Kids were out of school again today. Poured rain last night, which turned to snow. Then today, the temp has dropped. I think it is 0 out right now….Tomorrow is a high of 9. I feel like I am back in Wyoming. This is unheard of for here. School is already called off for tomorrow. Simply because it is too cold outside. Ill take it. Another day of pajamas and movies and sleeping in.
Kenna learned how to juggle in Spanish class after taking her final. Pretty impressive….
