Kenna's Birthday...
Our Ken Doll turned 11 on the 13th. Insane. It is completely cliche, but it really does go way way too fast. Seriously. Kenna is a nut. She loves to be crafty and create. She uses my craft room WAY more than I ever have. She loves soccer and basketball. Hates all things girly. Seriously. If it has a hint of pink, ruffles or lace...it is a no go. Her favorite colors are lime green and orange...bright orange. She is a sweetheart and is a wonderful helper with Brady and Rissa. She does wonderful in school and loves to read. She is also 11 going on 17.... It is ridiculous. We love her lots and had a great time celebrating her birthday, with a bbq.
What Kenna wore all day. She had gotten both the hat and blanket from Grandma and Grandpa in the Blue house. She is a nut.
Uncle Jeffy
Her Chocolate Cake. She had taken a cake decorating class over the summer and insisted on decorating her own cake. She kills me. So I baked the cake and she did the flowers and wording. She did a great job. Much better than I ever could have.

We also made these little cupcakes for her to take to school on Monday. Who know that there are GoldFish COOKIES? Yum.

Marcus, Uncle Coltin and Uncle Jeffy. They were having a little bit of bonding time while eating some cake...

The Kiddos. Yes, Brady is always like this...

Marissa getting on the Kindergarten Bus. Of course, I followed it to school. I was so sad. She could have cared less. Kindergarten is all day here. It goes from 9:30-3:33. Insane. It is long days for the little guys...but she is doing well.

Missy. She is so pretty. We went to this ghetto rope swing in Lee. It was a blast. It wasn't high at all, so Braden and even Marissa did it. It was awesome.

Brady's turn on the rope swing. One of many MANY times, but probably the best one...
Ohhhhh......
OUCH!
And he thought he was hilarious. He loved that thing.

First Day of School!!
September 8th was our first day of school. It was also Marissa's first day of Kindergarten. Puke. They all did wonderfully, and had a great day. Everyone likes their teachers so that makes it so much nicer..

Brady's Front Page Debut
While checking out the paper on the 9th...I noticed that Mr Brady was on the front page...IN COLOR! He was walking across the crosswalk with his friend Ian and Ian's dad, Dillon, and sister, Daylin. When we showed Brady, he kept saying, "Mom, why am I in the paper?" I would tell him just cuz, or because it was the first day of school.... Apparently those weren't the right answers. He said. "I know why I am in the paper...Its cuz I'm AWESOME!" He is a goof.
Labor Day Weekend
Over Labor Day we made the 6 hr trip to good old Elko and Spring Creek to see Marcus' mom, sister and grandparents. We hadn't been there since Sammy graduated in 2005, so it was time. We had a lot of fun. I am really glad we went. Of course we visited 9 Beans. YUM.

Brady
Marissa's first turn. I couldn't believe that she actually did it. She loved it.

Missy was out there waiting for her to drop. The little fart didn't let go, so Missy was holding her leg until she would let go. It was funny. But she did great.

Missy
Kenna "punching" Missy.
So, while we were there, we had Missy take our family pictures. Our last ones were when Marissa was 3 months old, which is ridiculous. I FINALLY convinced Marcus to get them done and he agreed....whew. They turned out cute. I like em and will take what I can get! We did them up Lamiolle Canyon which is BEAUTIFUL. I loved going up there when we lived there. It was so pretty...still is.
