Labor Day Weekend

We decided (kinda last minute) that we we going to go meet Marcus' Aunt Jan at her cabin in Duck Creek (the canyon above Cedar City). It is soo pretty there. So nice. Love it.

We got there Thursday afternoon and after staying up late chatting both Thursday and Friday night, we decided to head to Las Vegas. We were soo close and we hadn't seen Marcus' grandma for almost a year. That is way too long when you are 93.

We didn't tell anyone we were coming, and got there just in time for lunch. My sister-in-law was there with her husband and the kids. We suck and hadn't seen the boys since Marissa's blessing. That is awful. Shame on us. Oh my goodness. They were too much fun. Between visiting grandma Hazel, the pool and In N Out Burger we were good to go. Marcus and Brady were able to go the the UNLV/Utah State football game with Uncle George. We one!!! Whoo! Go Rebels!!

Visiting Grandma Hazel...

Enjoying Aunt Cheryls pool...Kenna. She was trying to make it into that tube. She came pretty close.

Kenna and Baylen. My goodness those two were connected at the hip the whole time. They were too funny.

Miss Marissa.

Rissa and Brady.

This is my buddy Braxtin. He is sooo stinking cute. I want to squeeze him. Of course, he liked Marcus better than me. He kept calling Marcus a little sap. What? Too funny.

And Mister Romney. Oh my goodness does he look exactly like his dad. Kinda crazy. Such a sweetie. He and Brady are exactly 1 month apart, but about 50 pounds. He is huge!!! Maybe Brady is just really small...

Kenna with every single tube, such a nerd.

Marcus taking the boys down. Braxtin tackled Marcus....
Baylen, Marissa, Romney, Braxtin, McKenna and Braden.
Kenna and Grandma Hazel.

Marissa (Grandma Hazel's Namesake) drew a picture for her. Grandma was so cute about it.

Having 6 kids in a little apartment was interesting so we went out for a walk. Baylen took some petals off a plant and started blowing them. Sooo freaking cool. This was the first shot. After the rest of the kids saw that, they all had to try. Those plants were petal-less when we left. All in the name of getting that perfect picture...

Romney.

Kenna and Baylen. I love my camera.
Funny stories. While we were in Cedar City, my flip flop broke...of course. While we were in Walmart a bought another cheap pair. They were really cheesy...Disney. Ugh. Anyways, I noticed the next day that one was a 5/6 and the other was a 7/8!! Are you kidding me? They were on the same hooky thing. One was tighter, but it wasn't like my foot was falling off the shoe or anything. So I didn't think anything of it. Retarded. So when we were at Target in Vegas buying the kids swim suits, I bought another pair.
Get back to Aunt Cheryls and the kids go put their suits on. Marissa is screaming in the bathroom, she is stuck in her top. It was 12 months! The bottom was 3T. Are you kidding me?? Seriously people!! She wore it anyways. It was a lot tight, but what do you do? So that was 2 times in 2 days. Freak. So check pairs and sets people....you never know.

Oh my gosh! So much fun! That whole flip flop and swimming suit story was hilarious. What a fun trip! Love the school pictures. You are so funny about Brady. I think I will totally be that way with Hayd.
