Our furniture and stuff were delivered on July 2. I tell you, it was crazy. Having never dealt with movers before they are crazy…and pretty organized. They had our whole house unloaded in 3 hrs and the boxes were in the right rooms!! They even hauled the treadmill and weight bench stuff downstairs. You know what a pain that would have been? Once they left, the fun began…. It was a little overwhelming, almost didn’t know where to start. But I was so glad to be out of the Ramada and actually in our house…. Let the fun begin!!
On July 3 we took the kids to a MLB game in Pittsburgh. It was the Pittsburgh Pirates against the Phillies. It was pretty darn cool. We were at the game that had an awesome firework show scheduled...and being only 70 miles from Morgantown, we were able to make it a day trip.
Moo and the kids. Brady showing his Pirate “P” pride.
The family. Brady is impossible. I have given up trying. Seriously.
We had a flyover that was awesome. I missed the shot with the camera. Sad day. It was a cool thing.
To get a better view of the fireworks (we were on the deck under the jumbo-tron) we left at the top of the 9th. It was 12-3 Phillies. Sad. Anyways, we crossed the bridge to watch. You can see the stadium lit up behind the bridge. I think it was a good decision to cross. The fireworks were the best I have ever seen, hands down. LOVED it.
On the 4th, we got some more unpacking done and did our fireworks in the driveway…
Another trip to Cheat Lake on Tuesday night before Missy left us on Friday (SNIFF). I have decided weeknights are definitely the way to go!! Not busy at all. Still toasty, but don’t have the sun blasting on you. You basically have the lake to yourself. Awesome. It is going to be hard to go back on the weekends…well not too hard. ;)
We went to the rope swing that was hysterical….Here goes Missy…
And she lands…
Don’t worry, she got right up!! It is water that is ankle deep. Ha ha ha. She is lucky she didn’t hurt herself. Don’t worry, she did it again. Dork.
Missy, McKenna and Marissa riding the tube.
Then falling off….
We asked Marissa why she pushed them in. She was a little concerned that she was on the tube all by herself…
I just ♥ their faces in these pics. And the wipe-outs…pretty stinkin classic.
Brady thinks he is so cool riding his bike to the mailbox at the top of the hill. I noticed his set up when he was getting ready to leave. Backpack:check.IPod:check. He makes me laugh. Such a little stud.
Got a little package on the 9th….my sil Breezy made me us cookies and fudge. Freaking awesome. And delicious. She is the greatest. Love her. REALLY WISH THEY WOULD COME SEE US!!!
Me and Ken Doll on my 30th birthday. So weird.
Some shots of the house… Need to change my camera lens..so they aren’t so close up. Brady and Marissa’s rooms.
Front Room/Family Room/TV Room.
Got the basketball hoop up. It is a lot of fun. And we have lots of room to play.
Our house…
And our kiddos….getting ready to leave for church. Love it. Love them.
So there you have it. We are here. :) And you all need to come see us. Like now. Kinda strange going from so so busy and stressed out and collapsing in bed each night to a whole lot of nothing, reading and boating. Life is good.
